Rebecca is a graduate of Wayne State University and holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance. During her education at Wayne State she studied both voice and piano privately. She was a performing member of the opera workshop as well as several choral ensembles while at Wayne. After graduation she further honed her vocal and piano skills through practice and performing.

“Miss Rebecca” as her students call her, has more than 20 years of professional performing experience. Organizations she has enjoyed performing with include Michigan Opera Theatre, Great Lakes Lyric Opera, The Birmingham Musicale, Opera MODO, Pittsfield Opera Theater, Opera in the Ozarks, Saint Paul on the Lake Catholic Church, National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica, and Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament, to name a few. Rebecca’s performing travels have taken her throughout the United States and Europe. Here’s some excerpts of performances Rebecca has done https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Htv2buCfrrY .

She is an experienced music teacher and music director with more than 15 years of experience. “Miss Rebecca” teaches piano and vocal private lessons and teaches in public school settings. She has also music directed numerous musicals including Rent, Heathers, A Christmas Story, and Little Shop of Horrors. She uses the techniques she was taught for voice and piano and tailors them to her teaching so that no 2 students are taught exactly alike. She is especially skilled at helping voice students overcome tension, support, and diction issues. “Miss Rebecca” teaches online lessons via FaceTime and Google Duo, depending upon what device a student uses for lessons. She’s been with Marshall Music since 2016.
