Marshall Music has set the standard for School Service in Michigan since 1948. It is our privilege to share our passion for music with young people across the state. Our goal is to foster a lifelong love and appreciation of music. With that in mind, we have developed an array of programs and services for music educators, students, and the community.

Marshall Music offers a full array of Recruiting Services with a team of Recruiting Specialists committed to helping school music programs grow and succeed.

Professional Development

  • A team of highly qualified and experienced music educators is available for clinics, festival preparation, and guest conducting.
     

  • Sectional coaching, Solo & Ensemble Festival preparation, and jazz workshops are also available.
     

  • Through our partnership with Conn-Selmer, we are able to share valuable development opportunities:​

    • Conn-Selmer Institute is a three and a half day professional development conference (accredited by VanderCook College of Music) featuring workshops led by world-class clinicians and music educators.

    • Conn-Selmer VIP Program offers a behind-the-scenes look at the largest domestic manufacturer of band instruments, and an opportunity to partner in shaping their support of music education.
       

  • Special opportunities for guest artists, master classes, and demonstrations are periodically offered, often through our partnership with other major vendors, including Yamaha, Eastman String, and Pearl.
     

  • Marshall Music’s annual Year One Seminar provides outstanding professional development and preparation for young music educators about to enter the field.

 

School Sales & Support

  • Competitive bid pricing for the purchase of school-owned instruments, including special annual sales of demo and conference instruments.
     

  • Instrument Maintenance Agreements are available to control repair costs, maximize savings, and extend the life of school-owned inventory.
     

  • The same affordable pricing on reeds, lyres, strings, method books, other accessories, and repairs, regardless of the size of the program.
