Xinyu Zhu

Violin

Xinyu Zhu has taught both online and in-person lessons for more than six years with students in a wide age range. She listens to your desires on music and personalizes a teaching plan to make sure you reach your goal. 


Xinyu is currently a violin performance doctoral student at the MSU College of Music, studying under Prof. Berlinsky. She earned opportunities to be the concertmaster at MSU Symphony Orchestra. She plays the violin in different local orchestras and holds positions in the Jackson Symphony Orchestra and Midland Symphony Orchestra. She's also in the violin faculty at the Flint Institute of Music and recently she earned the Verdehr Fellowship with her chamber group.
