Ethan Fegan

Ethan Fegan is a Kalamazoo composer and performer who has been teaching private lessons for nearly five years. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from Western Michigan University and his Master's Degree in Music Composition from Ball State University. He has been actively performing since he joined his middle school band, and has since performed with various local musicians, two worship bands, the Western Michigan University Concert Band and Marching Band, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Men's Chorus, and the Center Stage Theater Pit Orchestra.
Ethan composes music in a variety of genres and styles, following classical development aesthetics while throwing new ideas into both acoustic and electronic works. He has had works performed at Western Michigan University, Ball State University, SPLICE, SEAMUS, and CHIMEfest.
Ethan has always had a passion for teaching and has taught private lessons in piano, guitar, and clarinet, along with teaching music theory and aural skills at Ball State University.
