"Hi! I teach classical, jazz, blues, rock, metal, latin, funk, and more across a wide variety of instruments, and I have fun doing it! I have been teaching at Marshall Music since 2018, and I also work as the music and tech director at Vicksburg United Methodist Church."

Alex Ensing earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University (Lee Honors College) in multimedia arts technology. Ensing has performed with various worship teams, the Kalamazoo Concert Band, and the WMU Concert, Jazz Lab, Marching, and Pep bands. While at WMU, Ensing attended the 2018 NAMM show as a President's Innovation Award Winner, and he produced a big band album with Vicksburg High School at Western Sound Studios. Ensing has performed in over a dozen pit orchestras since 2013. Ensing acquired teaching experience through his time as a section leader in the Bronco Marching Band, and as a marching band camp instructor at Berrien Springs, Jackson Northwest, and Cedar Springs high schools. In addition to teaching at Marshall Music, Ensing also works as the music and technology director for Vicksburg United Methodist Church.
