Wang Liang

Wang Liang is a violinist, educator, and Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at Michigan State University. He holds a Master of Music degree from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Music degree from Wuhan Conservatory of Music. As an active performer, Wang has appeared with numerous professional orchestras, including the Flint Symphony Orchestra, Midland Symphony Orchestra, Jackson Symphony Orchestra, Allentown Symphony Orchestra and so on. He also has served in leadership roles such as Acting Concertmaster of the Nanchang Symphony Orchestra.


In addition to his performing career, Wang has over a decade of teaching experience working with students of all ages and skill levels. He has taught privately since 2013 and has served on the faculty of organizations including Flint School of Performing Arts, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Spartan Chinese School, and Music Instruction for All Learners Co. Wang is passionate about helping students develop strong technical foundations, musical expression, and a lifelong appreciation for music in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
