Grace Miller

Grace Miller is an undergraduate student at Western Michigan University, where she is earning degrees in both Cello Performance and Music Education. She has studied under Alicia Eppinga and Bruce Uchimura and has been recognized for her musical achievements through scholarships such as the Edwin E. Meader Endowed Scholarship and the Robert Madura String Scholarship.
Grace has performed with ensembles including the Grand Rapids Youth Symphony, where she served as assistant principal cellist, and the Western Michigan University Symphony Orchestra as co-principal cellist. She has participated in prestigious festivals such as the Aria International Summer Academy and the Ascent International Cello Festival. She was a finalist in WMU’s 2025 Concerto Competition and placed third in the 2022 Skip Gates Concerto Competition.
Grace is passionate about teaching and works with students of all ages and levels. In addition to teaching at Marshall Music, she is the Lead Cello Instructor for Orchestra Rouh and a substitute instructor for Kalamazoo Kids In Tune.
