Margaret is a student of Michigan State University, currently pursuing her doctorate in Percussion Performance. She grew up in Austin, Texas - where she began her teaching career. Margaret earned her Master’s of percussion performance from MSU in May of 2026, and her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Texas at Austin in May of 2024.
Her resume consists of private lessons, starting at the middle school level up to the undergraduate college level. Margaret has additionally coached several advanced scholastic ensembles, in both Texas and Michigan.
Margaret’s professional experience includes a wide range of percussion techniques, from competitive marching band, classical or orchestral percussion, to contemporary or modern skills.
