Kathy Ford is a State of Michigan certified vocal music teacher with a B.A. in vocal music education, M.A. in adult learning, and an M.A. in special education. Kathy has over 30 years of teaching experience. Additionally, she has been performing professionally for over 30 years as a soloist and with her band. In the 90’s Kathy recorded nationally and internationally several records which were charted in Billboard and Cashbox. She has worked with artists such as Garth Brooks, Waylon Jennings, Vince Gill, George Jones, Eric Burton, Martha Reeves and Vandellas, and many more. Kathy has also been recognized and won competitions such as Mid Atlantic songwriter Nashville songwriting competition. Kathy is currently performing as a solo act and with her band throughout Michigan and the Midwest. Her website is kathyfordband.com.
