Rebecca Hari

Rebecca is an active trumpet performer and music educator throughout the Midwest. She holds a Master of Music degree in Trumpet Performance from Western Illinois University and a Bachelor of Music degree in both Trumpet Performance and Music Education from Western Michigan University. Her primary instructors include Dr. Nicole Gillotti, Dr. Robert White, and Professor Scott Thornburg.

Rebecca maintains a diverse performance career, appearing regularly with regional orchestras throughout Illinois and Iowa. Her chamber music experience includes performing as a member of the LaMoine Brass Quintet at Western Illinois University. She has also performed in a variety of settings, including pit orchestras, brass choirs, trumpet ensembles, marching bands, and as a performer in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

In addition to her performance work, Rebecca has extensive teaching experience, serving as Graduate Assistant for the Brass Department at Western Illinois University and as a private instructor for the WIU Community Music School. She is currently a music director in Illinois, working with high school band and choir students while maintaining an active private trumpet studio.

Rebecca loves to work with students of all backgrounds to help them find the joy in music and appreciation for the trumpet.
