Janet Channells

Janet Channells studied Music Education at Western Michigan University. As an educator, she began teaching French horn privately in 1986. She teaches at Marshall Music, Battle Creek Community Music School, and Kellogg Community College. She also teaches privately at Gull Lake Schools and Mattawan Schools.

As a performer, Janet has been playing with the Battle Creek Symphony since 1989 and the Kalamazoo Concert Band since 1980. She has also performed with various church groups throughout the Kalamazoo area.

Janet has always lived in the Richland area. Her hobbies are gardening, reading, hiking and travel.
