David Klein

David Klein teaches a variety of styles including basic fundamentals through advanced literature to all students from beginners through experienced musicians. He also teaches jazz improvisation, blues, and klezmer.

His students have been chosen to perform in a variety of honor bands and orchestras throughout Michigan. Besides teaching in the standard methods, David is also trained to teach in the Suzuki Trumpet method.

David received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Music Degree in trumpet performance from Michigan State University. His teachers have included Mel Broiles, Ross Beacraft, Arnold Jacobs, and Rich Illman. He has performed in a variety of styles including orchestral, jazz, klezmer, and Broadway musicals.
