Alex Affer

Guitar Teacher, Repair Apprentice

Alex Affer is currently 21 years old and lives in West Bloomfield. He has been playing the guitar ever since he got his first stratocaster for Christmas in 1st grade. He has since been a member in ensembles such as the top jazz guitar ensemble at Wayne State, Rhythm X World class drumline, and The Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps. Alex started at Marshall Music in 2012 as a student taking lessons with maestro Tim Teal, and for the past 2 years has worked in the repair shop where he recently began a full-time repair apprenticeship.
