Inspired Teachers Creating Inspired Students
The mission at Marshall’s School of Music is to provide outstanding musical instruction in a supportive and positive environment. Our philosophy is that everyone can benefit from learning music, and our instructors strive to help each student reach his or her potential.
ABOUT OUR SCHOOL OF MUSIC
Marshall’s School of Music has been a cornerstone of Michigan music education since it opened in 1948. We offer weekly private instruction for all band and orchestra instruments, as well as piano, voice, guitar, and drums. Styles range from classical, to jazz, to pop and rock. Whether you are a parent bringing your child in for his or her first music lesson, or a recent retiree taking up an instrument after many years of being away, we have the instructor to fit your individual needs. If you are already an experienced musician and are looking to advance your skills, our School of Music offers the highest level of music instruction at the most competitive rates.
OUR STAFF & STUDENTS EXCEL!
We have a staff of highly trained, professional musicians with proven teaching experience. Our instructors are a diverse group of individuals who also spend their time performing in rock venues, jazz festivals, and symphony orchestras throughout Michigan. Regular performance opportunities are a vital part of the Marshall Music lessons program. Current and former Marshall Music students may be found performing in MSBOA competitions, honors bands, orchestras, conservatories, and music festivals across the country.
