Band and Orchestra Repair Manager - Chris Roush

Marshall Music is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Roush as manager of the Lansing instrument repair department.

Chris is an accomplished third generation tubist. He was principal or assistant principal tuba in the Georgia State All-Star Band and marched two seasons with the Spirit of Atlanta. In 1994 he was selected as one of two tubists in the Governor’s Honors Program. He earned a Bachelors of Music Education Degree from Tennessee Technological University studying tuba with R. Winston Morris and playing trombone and tuba in the bands, orchestras, brass quintets and tuba ensembles. Other teachers include John Roush, Frank Kilgard and Robert Jager


Chris continues to maintain a busy performance schedule with the Motor City Brass Band, Ypsilanti Symphony and Capitol City Brass Band. In Georgia he was a member of the Albany Symphony, Valdosta State University Band and Orchestra and other local ensembles. He also has performed with Gene Pokorny, Dan Perantoni, Tim Northcut, Frank Mantooth, Willie Thomas, Pat Metheny and Ray Charles.
